Codemasters studio has officially announced work on the next game of the series signed with name of motorsport legend - Colin McRae.
In continuation of CM: Dirt we face the opponents in new and exciting locations.
Among them are I.a London and the Malaysian rainforest. Producers focused on building the spectacular off-road racing and rallycross game again, increasingly moving away from the roots of the series. According to their claims, game will undergo major improvement in terms of damage model, the driving physics and graphics, which is one of the advantages of the first "Dirt"; models of vehicles to be up to twice more detailed than in other Codemasters production: Race Driver: GRID. Players will be able to choose from a large number of vehicles, divided into seven classes. An interesting feature will also be the full online mode. Several new screenshots of Peugeot 307 WRC '05, wich is unpatiently awaited by many virtual racers, have recently appeared on the web. Car is a conversion from another rally-themed game, CMRD. It's author is well known Hungarian addon-maker, nicknamed atiwrc. Mesh seems to be almost finished, now the author will probably focus on creating physics for it. It's highly possible, that we will see this model released in the begining of the new year.
